Gilman Ciocia has named Jay Palma as principal financial and chief accounting officer. The financial planning company, which also provides tax preparation services, made the move following the resignation of Karen Fisher from that position this week. Fisher resigned to take a job with another company. Palma was previously VP of tax and accounting services, a position he had held since January 2008. He has also been financial operations officer of the company's broker dealer subsidiary Prime Capital Services, since January 2011.
