Copanion Names Engineering VP E-mail

copanion logoANDOVER, Mass. - Copanion, which makes tax workflow software, has hired Julie Pierce for the newly created job of vice president of engineering. In that position, she is responsible for overseeing development of Copanion's products.

She was previously VP of product development for Bottomline Technologies, which markets payment, invoice and document automation systems to corporations and financial institutions. She has also held executive and management positions with  Polaroid Corporation, eVelocity, and Data Clearinghouse.

She also has extensive experience SAS 70 Type II certified systems, data security, SaaS development, client quality and assurance for product improvement, and program management. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering and Master of Science degree in computer engineering.
