Sites in Rome, Ga., Ft. Pierce, Fla., and Caribou, Maine, are scheduled to close with the first workers moving into the new facility during the summer. The transition is expected to be completed in 2012. Rome will close this year, Ft. Pierce in 2011 and Caribou in 2012. The 130,000 sq. ft.-facility will house the SFS Electronic Filing Center, which the company reported handled 20 million state and federal returns during the 2009 filing season. It also will have a television studio, shipping and fulfillment operations and employee food, recreation and fitness facilities. | |||
