 MADISON, Conn. and DEXTER, Mich. Build Your Firm, which provides marketing and practice management services to accountants, and the Tax & Accounting business unit of Thomson Reuters, have agreed to promote each others' products and services. Build Your Firm also offers Web-site development services while Thomson's products include the CS Professional Suite of tax and accounting products.
The companies said their goals include expanding presence and visibility within the small business accounting segment; supporting complimentary products and services that enable accounting firms to operate more efficiently and effectively; and augmenting their partner programs to include more of the profession’s thought leaders and visionaries. In September, Build Your Firm announced a similar alliance with BizFilings, which provides incorporation services to small businesses.
