RIVERWOODS, Ill. - A new tool from CCH, Worldwide Tax Rates and Answers, can calculate corporate income tax and withholding tax liability in 90 countries covered by the Worldwide Tax Rates and Answers service. The tools enable professionals to enter information and receive output that is accurate, current and ready for use in other customer applications.
To determine corporate tax, a subscriber picks a jurisdiction and a calendar tax year and then enters taxable income. The calculator can also compute taxable income utilizing templates that start from either gross income or net income per books. The withholding calculator computes withholding tax between two countries on a user-supplied amount of dividends, interest or royalties. Country-specific information is also provided to assist in selecting the best tax rate for a transaction. Results for up to five jurisdictions or transactions can be compared on one screen. | |
