CCH’s Tax Prep Partner series has been expanded to cover non-profit, estate tax and payroll forms. Modules are now available for of seven return types: Form 990, Form 1041 and Payroll forms, as well as Forms 1040, 1065, 1120 and 1120S,  introduced last year. The online resource provides line-by-line explanations for the most common and complex areas of tax preparation. 

Content can be accessed in a number of ways, including the CCH A-Line-D that enables users to directly access explanations by typing in the form number, line number and tax year. Menus offer a topical approach to finding information. The system also has a quick answer feature that utilizes an Interactive Glossary – a searchable list of terms and topics.

There is also the Questions and Answers approach in which users open a screen for each form and browse or use search to find answers. Each quick answer links to further explanations and relevant practice aids.
