Other enhancements include the ability of subscribers to customize their research experience by saving smaller sections of content on the Browse Tree into Practice Areas. Once set up, subscribers can target any practice areas when searching. The system also provides Federal Tax Legislative Developments Smart Charts, integrated customizable charts for tracking federal tax legislation. These include summaries of all legislative provisions with access to in-depth explanations and analysis, impacted Internal Revenue Code sections, full text of laws and committee reports, and relevant client letters. The research platform also now features a new home page that is designed to make it easier to find content and information. Besides providing the Tip of the Week, Featured Tool, training and contact information, and exposed Browse Tree, the new home page offers an expanded Tax News and Highlights section and links to popular federal and state government websites. Also available is enhanced Tax Tracker News that include improvements such as top line links and an improved customization setup Another view, the Categorized View, has been made the default view for firm subscribers. The Categorized View automatically displays search results by document type, including explanations, laws and regulations. While the top three relevant search results for each document type will appear under a document type heading, users can view the entire list of relevant results for each document type by clicking "View all." | |||
