The Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters is planning a new web-based audit and engagement management application that will be released mid-year. Called AdvanceFlow, it is designed to complement the document management capabilities of the company's GoFileRoom.

ProSystem fx Workstream's new Monitored Project Notification automatically alerts users a specified number of days prior to a planned finish date if the project is not on schedule. Project Assignment Timing can make role and workstep assignments independently of project creation. Workstream users also can choose to e-mail or post notifications to a dashboard for monitoring.

GoFileRoom, a document management system from Thomson Reuters, has an improved ability to identify tax forms in its TaxSort feature. These include customizable bookmark categories other menu options for Adobe PF files that are store in the application. There are also improvements to the FirmFlow module.
