My husband, myself and a fellow tax preparer just spent $116.00 each, plus an investment of our time spending many hours studying, to take the required RTRP exam and passed. I think we should get our certificates and the designation. If we are not going to get our certificates, then I think the IRS should reimburse every preparer who took the test.
