My biggest problem with TaxWorks is their lack of communication. They've spent a year creating a product that obviously has not even been field tested prior to release.
If I'd known they were tossing out their old software platform and replacing it, I'd of switched providers during the year.
If I'd known it would take until 1/9/2013 to get my server and four workstations installed, I'd switched earlier.
If I'd known we can only print 10 organizers at a time, (and each one has to be started individually), if I'd known that we can't write the cover letter inside the software, if I'd known the organizers print in an uncollated order, I'd of switched software providers earlier.
My biggest concern right now is, since the installation and organizer printing process is so late in arriving, and still a lousy, unflexible, and inefficient system, IS THE PREPARATION SOFTWARE GOING TO BE AS POORLY DESIGNED AND WRITTEN?
I'm scared, very very scared about TaxWorks' ability to provide timely, accurate, and efficient software.
