A federal individual tax update is being offered on December 18 and a business tax update on December 19 in New York. A combined business and individual tax conference is being conducted on December 4 in Pittsburgh. Each day qualifies for eight hours of continuing professional education credits.

The sessions were developed by Bradley Burnett, a practicing Colorado tax attorney. Topics to be covered included major provisions of 2016 and 2017 federal tax legislation, along with recent important court cases, regulations, rulings and related developments affecting individuals, C and S corporations, partnerships, businesses and estates and trusts. There will also be discussion of income, employment and estate and gift taxes and how Congress and the President stirred the pot.

The webinar series focuses half a day on developments in individual taxation and half a day on what professionals need to know to complete partnership, S Corp, and C Corp returns for 2017. It will also highlight legal and regulatory developments as well as provide an up-to-date look at what is going on in Congress. Webinars will be conducted on December 6 and 27 and January 3 and 24.

The live conferences are priced at $295 per day, $236 for the early-bird special. Breakfast, lunch and beverage breaks will be provided.

Webinar participants will be able to download course materials in advance. During the sessions, they will be able to chat with the instructor and can earn CPE credit without taking a text. Certificates of completions will be available immediately after the event.

Participants can access archived webinars for up to three months after the event for free. Attendees at both the conferences and webinars will receive free access to the CCH CPELink Compliance Manager for monitoring CPE deadlines and mandatory requirements.
