Xero Readies New Partner Program

Xero will roll out a new global Partner Program in November along with Xero HQ, which the web-based software company calls an open practice platform. The changes accompany the new Xero certification process and the ability to earn points by adding clients, which will give them the opportunity to grow more quickly.

The New Zealand-based company says the application has a new look with a personalized learning experience.

The point system was tested in Australia and is described as unlocking new benefits. Bookkeepers and accountants who are part of the program can earn a new level call Xero Champion that offers rewards for those achieving that distinction. Partners can also order Xero-branded merchandise and other marketing resources through a new Xero Store.

The HQ platform will enable developers to integrate with Xero and related applications. Tools are available to see client status or be able to drill into their information with Explorer based on industry, apps or banking relationships

Users can streamline reporting through the use of new report templates, along with being able to view clients in one place. Staff management tools also provide visibility over the certification status of their staffs.
