Intuit Downloads to Avoid Tax
Intuit plans to offer a download-only distribution of its 2012 Lacerte and ProSeries tax preparation software. The method is aimed at avoiding sales tax on software distributed via CD in 14 states, including California.
Download only is avaiable for all Lacerte Unlimited and REP products. It is also available for all ProSeries products: Power Tax, Power Tax Lite, 1040 Complete even Pay per return only.
