IRS Seeks to Fill ACT Vacancies

IRS logoWASHINGTON — The Internal Revenue Service is seeking applications to fill 10 vacancies in five different customer segments for its Advisory Committee on Tax Exempt and Government Entities. Appointed by the Department of the Treasurery, members serve two-year terms beginning in June 2011.

ACT is a public forum for the IRS and representatives who deal with employee plans, exempt organizations, tax-exempt bonds, and federal, state, local and Indian tribal governments.

Vacanies and segments are as follows: Employee plans, two; exempt organizations, two; tax-exempt bonds, one; Indian tribal governments, two; and federal, state and local governments, three.
