Turay held the Jackson Hewitt job for a year. Before that, she served as SVP of human resources and corporate sales for Harry & David from 2012 through 2015.

Blucora has undergone a transition in the last year after buying HD Vest on Dec. 31, 2015 and divesting businesses that it had for several years. It hired John Clendening as CEO in March and saw TaxAct president, JoAnn Kintzel, announce her plan to resign once a successor is named. No replacement has yet been hired.
