MBAF Picks Northeast Tax Lead
Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farr, has named Emilio Escandon as principal-in-charge of its Northeast Region's Tax Practice. Escandon, who joined the firm in May 2005, was previously in charge of its Fort Lauderdale, Fla., practice. He will run the practice from New York City office of MBAF.
Escandon has worked with public and private companies issues that include tax and accounting methods, tax implementation of FIN 48, and treatment of stock options. He has assisted clients in negotiating, structuring, and performing related due diligence for transactions with a deal value of over $6 billion.
