Marks Paneth & Shron has named a new partner and a principal to its tax practice and a new principal to its Litigation and Corporate Financial Advisory Services Group. The New York-based firm has promoted Dawn Rhodes to partner and Paul Bercovici to principal in the first group and Josefina Tranfa-Abboud to principal in the latter.
CPA Rhodes joined Lipziger & Breskin LLP in 1994 which merged with MP&S in 2006. Her areas of specialty include clients in the real estate industry, estates and trusts and high net worth individuals.
Bercovici, who joined MP&S in 2009, advises American citizens and foreign nationals, on international tax issues associated with living in and outside the United States. Working at the firm since 2007, Tranfa-Abboud, provides clients with economic analysis related to modelling and estimation of economic damages in labor and employment disputes
