Intuit Rolls Out Research Services

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.-- Intuit has turned to BNA to provide the engine for Intuit's ProLine Tax Research which integrates directly into its Lacerte and ProSeries professional tax preparation applications.

Lacerte and ProSeries input screens and forms are mapped to relevant answers for key research questions so that users do not have to toggle between tax applications and research resources. Practitioners can now capture a full-page view of research results and attach it to Lacerte or ProSeries returns enabling them to document decisions they make and keeping the data intact as a potential audit trail.

Annual subscriptions of $849 renew automatically after 12 months. Pay-per-return use will be available in the fall for $19.95 per research document. Profine is embedded in the 2009 tax year releases of Lacerte and ProSeries.
