Paychex CEO Resigns

Jonathan JudgeJonathan Judge, who has served as president and CEO of payroll services provider Paychex, has resigned the position that he has held since October 2004 when he became the company's second president.  The resignation is effective July 31. However, the company issued a statement that Judge would complete his term as a member of the Paychex board of directors.

A search began immediately for a success with an executive committee formed to lead the company. The committee is comprised by Delbert Humenik, senior vice president of sales and marketing; John M. Morphy, senior vice president, chief financial officer, and secretary; and Martin Mucci, senior vice president of operations. Founder and chairman Thomas Golisano will provide oversight.
