GruntWorx Gather, a data retrieval application, provides secure electronic transfer of tax data from the client to the tax practitioner. It offers a portal-like Web interface that clients can utilize to connect with financial institutions and brokerage houses.
Clients log in to online accounts, enabling automatic delivery of data to tax professionals. The interface also can be used to upload scanned copies of source documents or digital copies provided by issuers not supported with Gather integration. Price: about $10 per person.
