Sage Network Gets Best Practices Info

Jennifer Warawa, SageSage has developed a new curriculum for its Sage Accountants Network. Called, "Fundamentals of  High-Performing Firms," the new content is designed to provide information from the network's member accountants from a wide variety of sources who provide information on important topics for running firms.

"We didn't want a ton of curriculum that came from one person," says Jennifer Warawa, VP of partner programs and channel sales for Sage North America. Available now is a white paper about optimizing websites written by Google. For another month, Ron Baker, who is well known for his discussion of billable hours, wrote an article about pricing.

Warawa says the information also marks Sage's work to make the program less about product and more about providing information that enables accountants to better run their firms.

There are two tracks: one if about new client acquisition and the other is called "Working Smarter, Not Harder in Your Accounting or Bookkeeping Firm". A new topic is provided each month in each track. Each track provides white papers, self-assessment tools, case studies and exercises.

In the United States, the content can be accessed at www.SageAccountantsNetwork.com/HighPerformingFirms.

In Canada it is available at www.SageAccountantsNetwork.ca/HighPerformingFirms
