This is the first big change in the CCH tax operations to become public following the company's hiring of Teresa Mackintosh, a Thomson Reuters executive, as VP of its tax division in April. That division was created in 2011 but the top executive job had been vacant after Joe Bergera, a Sage veteran, left the position after a a few months to take another job.

Dias was named as VP of product and segment management in May 2007. He had also served as director of product management for the ProSystem fx suite and product manager for ProSystem fx Tax.
