IMA to Promote CMA to Controllers

The Institute of Management Accountants has reached an agreement to promote the IMA’s Certified Management Accountant certification to subscribers of the Controllers Council.

The organizations said the agreement means information sharing, including giving the controllers' subscribers access to the CMA program and IMA’s Accounting and Finance Conference.

In addition, the organization will collaborate on future event panels, research projects, podcasts, and other activities geared toward accounting and finance professionals.

Headquartered in Montvale N.J., the IMA has a network of about 140,000 members in 150 countries and also offers the Certified in Strategy and Competitive Analysis credential. The Controllers Council has more than 90,000 subscribers. Its programs include CPE training, a national Career Center, webcasts on trending topics, research studies, articles and whitepapers.
