McKinstry Gets 13-percent Pay Hike

Nancy McKinstryNancy McKinstry, chief executive of Wolters Kluwer, received a 13-percent increase in compensation in 2010, as the parent of CCH detailed executive compensation in its annual report for the year just ended. McKinstry's pay totaled about $3.84 million. The reported pay does not include stock compensation as do American pay totals for executives of public companies.

McKinstry's base is $1.16 million and she received a bonus that was about 20-percent higher than that. The percentage increase in compensation was calculated on the change in the amounts in euros. CFO Boudewijn Beekens, received just under $2 million in pay, a 6.5-percent increase. Jack Lynch received a $1.87 million pay package, a 31.4-percent increase. Lynch's increase was based on his expanded duties in running technology and global shared services and his leadership of the company's Springboard project.
