Steffanie Anderson, Business CentsQuickBooks firm Business Cents of Spokane, Wash., is one of four finalists for this year's selection of the Firm of the Future by Intuit. The firm, which provides QuickBooks consulting and training, payroll and bookkeeping services, was selected to represent the United States.

Steffanie Anderson founded Business Cents in October 2008.

The final selection will be made at the software company's QuickBooks Connect conference. The other three firms and the countries they represent are as follows: AIS Solutions & Kninja of Canada, All That Counts, based in Baulkham Hills, New South Wales, Australia; and Business Works UK of Garforth, United Kingdom.

Each finalist receives a $5,000 price and two free tickets to QuickBooks Connect on November 15 through 17 in San Jose, Calif. The grand prize winner will receive an additional $10,000. Intuit is providing a videographer and director for each of these firms to create a video. Videos will be available online during a public voting period from October 16 through 29.

Fifteen runners-up received $2,500 each.

The U.S. runners-up are Admin Books of Morgan, Hill, Calif.; CSP & Associates of Spring Valley, Calif.; Kruze Consulting, based in Santa Monica, Calif.; Meyer Tax Consulting of Southlake, Texas; Prithi Daswani CPA of Orlando, Fla.; Tax Care, a franchised chain with 21 Florida locations; and Team Holly CPA of Tampa, Fla.
