I disagree with the quote by the Sacramento CPA that the difficulties are related to getting used to the new platform. ATX software continues to perform poorly. We are on the 12th update and they can only fix "some crashes". Deleted assets causing the return to have to be redone is NOT a "getting used to the platform" issue. Also, since all of my computers are new it is also not due to having outdated technology. Our Windows 7 computers cannot open tax returns that have been rolled over from 2011 ATX. Someone running Windows XP has to stop what they are doing and open the returns, close them and then the Windows 7 users can open the returns. I calculate that I (the IT partner)have lost 3 days of productivity dealing with the software issues this year!
